What are Russian Volume Lashes?
Russian Volume is the next step from our SVS treatment, and our fullest lash look yet. This semi-permanent lash treatment uses advanced techniques to create a high impact, dramatic lash look.
A Global Volume Artist will create fans of up to 8 lashes to apply onto one of your natural eyelashes, the perfect treatment if you are wanting to add depth and serious volume to your lashes. The beauty of this technique is it can be completely customised for you to achieve your desired volume and because our lash extensions are lightweight, your lash artist can apply more lashes to each natural lash without weighing them down.
How long does a Russian Volume treatment take?
Russian Volume lashes take from 90 minutes by a qualified lash artist, depending on your desired volume.
How long do Russian Volume lash extensions last?
With immediate results, Russian Volume lashes can last up to 8 weeks but with regular infills every 2-3 weeks they can last longer.
How much does a Russian Volume treatment cost?
This long-lasting treatment is, on average, £75 per treatment.
How do Russian Volume lash extensions work?
Russian Volume uses an advanced fanning technique to bond multiple lash extensions together creating a variety of 2D-8D fans. This means, depending on your desired lash look, you can have fans of 2-8 lash extensions applied on to 1 of your natural eyelashes. This technique is designed to create volume and density with a strong linear definition, so you won’t be needing strip lashes or eyeliner. Our lash extensions are lightweight so you can still achieve full volume without weighing down your natural eyelashes, but if you are wanting something a little fluffier or wispier, try our SVS treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Russian vs classic lashes?
Russian lashes create more volume and depth whereas classic lashes are more natural-looking. This is because Russian Volume uses an advanced fanning technique to bond multiple lash extensions to create a beautiful, fluttery fan, whereas classic lashes are individual eye lash extensions that are applied 1-on-1 to your natural lashes.

Do Russian Volume lash extensions damage your natural lashes?
Our Russian Volume lash artists have been expertly trained to our gold standard to ensure they perform this highly skilled treatment perfectly, putting your lash health first. You’ll have a consultation before your treatment where they will assess the condition, length and thickness of your natural lashes and create a bespoke set suited just for you. They’ll also use our Weight for Weight lash Guidelines and lightweight lash extensions to ensure they don’t weigh down your natural lashes, minimising the risk of damage. Always go to a certified artist and follow our aftercare routine to look after your Russian Volume lash extensions.
What are Russian lash extensions made from?
Russian lash extensions are usually made from synthetic fibres. Nouveau Lashes extensions are made from a blend of high-quality synthetic materials. This makes the lashes beautifully shiny and creates a curl that lasts. We do not use mink as a product in our lashes. Single lash extensions are used for Nouveau Lashes Global Volume techniques, including Russian Volume lash look.
Can you still wear make-up with Russian Volume lash extensions?
You can wear foundation, powders and CC cream as normal with Russian Volume lash extensions, but do not wear mascara. Any mascara will cause the fans to close and your lash extensions will clump together. Russian Volume is our fullest lash look yet, designed to give you mega volume lashes, so there’s no need to wear mascara on top. When removing your make-up, we recommend using oil-free products around the eye area because oils can break down the bonds in the glue, causing the extensions to become loose or fall out. Our oil-free Prebiotic Eye Make-Up Remover Gel is perfect for removing make-up around your lash extensions as the formula glides over the bonds and is also packed with ingredients to promote healthy lashes.
Can Russian lashes look natural?
Russian Volume is a full lash look that creates dramatic impact, with strong linear definition, so it’s not best suited for those who are wanting to achieve a more natural look. For a fluffier, wispy lash look, try our SVS treatment. A Nouveau Lashes Global Volume Artist will work with you to create your desired lash effect.
Can you get Russian Volume lashes wet?
You can get your Russian Volume lashes wet but not for the first 24 hours after your treatment. You should also avoid using saunas and steam rooms until 48 hours after as it can take up to 48 hours for the adhesive to fully set. Contact with heat and steam within this time period can cause the bond in the lash glue to break down, which can cause your lash extensions to become loose or fall out. After this time period, it’s completely safe to shower, swim and use saunas – just remember to brush your lashes afterwards using a clean mascara wand.
