We recently shared the amazing news that Nouveau Lashes won The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in International Trade 2018. This award opened doors for Nouveau Lashes, literally! Our co-director Bridgette Softley was invited by Her Majesty to a Reception at Buckingham Palace in the presence of H.R.H The Prince of Wales. Yes. Incredible.

As winners of this prestigious award in the category of International Trade, Nouveau Lashes are extremely proud to be recognised for our work in the international markets.

Bridgette attended the royal reception alongside our International Business Development Manager. Before the celebration began, Bridgette and Keith were interviewed by The Queen’s Awards social media team outside the royal grounds…

They asked, ‘What does the Queen’s Award mean for the business?’

Bridgette said, “Absolutely amazing! I don’t think we can actually put it into words yet, it’s one of those things that when you receive it you’re just blown away. We put ourselves forward for it and thought as a team, ‘do you think we could actually win this?’ As, it’s the Queen’s Award! When it came through, we thought ‘oh my goodness’, just awesome.”

“We are very proud to be a British company. Both of us directors hold Britain and The Royal Family close to our hearts. So, when we received this award it meant even more to us as it is endorsing what we believe in.”

It was an immense pleasure for the pair to walk into Buckingham Palace as invited guests to this prestigious evening. Once entering the reception, the guests were greeted with champagne before watching The Queen’s Awards presentation and meeting The Prince of Wales. During the celebration, Bridgette had the great opportunity to meet the other 2018 winners and find out more about their British business success.
