Business Development Executive

The main purpose of this role is to meet and exceed sales targets by being available to take incoming calls from customers purchasing Nouveau Lashes Products and converting sales enquiries into Training Bookings for our market leading courses such as LVL, Extend, Enhance and the ever popular SVS.

Main Responsibilities

1. Training & Product Sales Revenue Target

  • Achieve maximum revenue from Training sales and account penetration, upselling for additional technicians at all opportunities
  • Making the most of any special offers to help our accounts increase revenue through more Lash Technicians
  • Answer queries surrounding Training with a view to selling first time
  • Suggest cross skilling into other courses as a way of cross selling to our customers
  • Provide information, kit lists and brochures increasing brand awareness and cementing Training interest following up where applicable to secure the sale
  • Ensuring Training bookings are taken for current month and next month where possible ensuring budgetary figures are met and all training places are filled to capacity
  • Build strong value adding relationships in every interaction with existing and prospective customers
  • Achieve maximum revenue from Product sales warmly and relevantly upselling for additional spend at all opportunities
  • Make the most of any special offers to increase customer’s basket
  • Promote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
  • Discuss the unique selling points of products and training courses to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs
  • Effective questioning, establish customers’ needs for new/additional Products & Training services
  • Ensure customer product needs are met through conducting fact finds, recommending correct products suitable to their business requirements
  • Fact find questioning around customer’s business discussing their plans for growth, business expansion, revenue growth strategy etc

2. CRM, Tasks & Pipeline Management

  • Build and record within CRM, a pipeline of customers interested in Training with us
  • Work through new lead sources
  • Ensure tasks are created, using a diary system managing call-backs efficiently
  • Professionally handle disgruntled customers or complaint calls.
  • All customer insight and data captured to be updated on CRM correctly
  • Ensure marketing campaigns are discussed & followed up when speaking with customers, ensuring B2B messages are relayed in the most effective manner
  • Promoting brand awareness by discussing up and coming products & the launch of new training courses ie SVS
  • To attend and promote sales @ Pro Beauty Exhibitions & other conventions promoting the NL brand
  • Discuss the NL name & show offering, providing customers with information and key details involving Training & Products
  • To present self in a professional way, communicating well with customers in line with the NL vision and values
  • Keep product knowledge and market knowledge up to date

About You

  • Telephone sales ideal, and B2B experience preferred but not essential
  • An experienced sales person proven to have met and exceeded targets
  • Commercial thinker, clear understanding of how to help our customers’ and their business grow so that in turn our business grows
  • Great relationship builder and effective communicator with people at all levels
  • Excellent at prioritisation and organising, able to create task lists and work a pipeline of leads effectively
  • Knowledge of the salon and beauty industry is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a wider team
  • Healthy competitive outlook towards personal sales targets and driving together for the team target too
  • Positive, passionate and professional outlook and approach
  • Willing to learn and grow continually and drive performance upwards
